Sudenai wind farm
Construction of the Sudenai wind farm was completed in November 2008. The first turbines were connected to the power grid in November 2008. The wind park achieved full capacity in December 2008.
There are 7 Enercon E-82 turbines, each with a capacity of 2 MW, in the Sudenai wind farm. Full capacity of the wind farm is 14 MW.
The electric turbines are produced by a German company, Enercon GmbH. The height of the mast of the wind turbine is 78 meters, and rotor diameter is 82 meters. The expected life-span of the wind turbines is 20 years.
Total investment of the Sudenai wind farm is EUR 20.7 million.
The Sudenai wind farm is located in Kretinga Municipality, Sudenai and Lendimai Villages.
The Sudenai wind farm is operated by 4energia UAB (LLC), Nelja Energia’s subsidiary in Lithuania.
