Construction of the Sudenai wind farm was completed in November 2008. The first turbines were connected to the power grid in November 2008. The wind park achieved full capacity in December 2008.
There are 7 Enercon E-82 turbines, each with a capacity of 2 MW, in the Sudenai wind farm. Full capacity of the wind farm is 14 MW and the yearly production is 35.5 GWh.
The electric turbines are produced by a German company, Enercon GmbH. The height of the mast of the wind turbine is 78 m, and rotor diameter is 82 m. The expected life-span of the wind turbines is 20 years.
Total investment of the Sudenai wind farm is EUR 20.7 million.
The Sudenai wind farm is located in Kretingos County, Sudenai and Lendimai Villages.
Sudenai wind farm is operated by OÜ Nelja Energia`s subsidiary, 4energia UAB (LLC), in Lithuania.
