Silale wind farm

Construction of the Silale wind farm began in the end of 2010 and should be completed in 2012.

A total of 6 wind turbines will be erected. The total capacity of the wind farm will be 13.8 MW and the yearly production of electricity will be approximately 41 GWh.

The turbines are produced by a German company, Siemens AG. The expected life-span of the wind turbines is 20 years.

The Silale wind farm is located near Stungaičiai Village, Šilalė District, Lithuania. The wind farm comprises an area of 130 hectares.

The Silale wind farm is operated by OÜ Nelja Energia’s subsidiary, 4energia UAB (LLC), in Lithuania.
