Ojaküla wind farm

The Ojaküla wind farm has been planned to be completed in 2012.

Three Enercon E82 type wind turbines will be erected, each with a capacity of 2.3 MW, in the Ojaküla wind farm. The total capacity of the wind farm will be 6.9 MW and the prognosed yearly production 19 GWh.

The electric turbines are produced by a German company, Enercon GmbH. The height of the mast of the wind turbine is 98 m, and rotor diameter is 82 m. The wind turbine weighs 230 tons. The expected life-span of the wind turbines is 20 years.

The Ojaküla wind farm is located in Lääne-Viru County, Viru-Nigula Rural Municipality, close to the town of Kunda. The wind farm comprises an area of approximately 80 hectares.
