Esivere wind farm

The Esivere wind farm was completed in 2005. The first wind turbine was connected with the power grid in October 2005. Full capacity was achieved in the same month.

There are four Enercon E-70 type wind turbines, each with a capacity of 2 MW, in the Esivere wind farm. Full capacity of the wind farm is 8 MW and the yearly production of electricity is 21 GWh.

The electric turbines are produced by a German company Enercon GmbH. The height of the mast of the wind turbine is 85 m, rotor diameter 71 m. Weight of the wind turbine is 230 tons. The expected life-span of the wind turbines is 20 years.

Total investment of the Esivere wind farm is EUR 8.7 million.

The Esivere wind farm is located in Lääne County, Hanila Parish, Esivere Village. The wind farm comprises an area of 25.4 hectares.
