Planning of the Dundaga wind park started at the beginning of 2008. The start of construction is planned for 2011.
A total of 25 wind turbines will be installed in the Dundaga wind park. The total capacity of the wind farm will be 50 MW and the yearly production of electricity will be approximately 130 GWh.
The Dundaga wind farm is situated in Latvia, in Talsi District, approximately 10 km north of the town of Dundaga. The wind farm comprises an area of approximately 173 hectares.
The Dundaga wind farm is operated by OÜ Nelja Energia’s subsidiary, 4energia SIA, in Latvia.
